Glideaway is expanding its popular Sleepharmony mattress family with the introduction of a new three-model hybrid line at the Winter Las Vegas Market. Sporting specialty Ice Touch fabric, the new collection provides retailers with a unique cooling sales story.
Ranging in retail price from $799 to $1,499, each mattress offers a combination of memory foam and innersprings in a 10-inch or 12-inch profile. Taking cues from its retailer partners, Glideaway stuck closely to the most popular designs in the popular 12-inch profile—offering a firm-comfort or plush feel. In addition to the innovative Ice Touch fabric, each mattress is made with a solid layer of TruGel at the top of the mattress to offer a cool-to-the-touch feel. By combining MemoryTex material with TruGel layer and Ice Touch, Glideaway delivers a much cooler sleep than most traditional memory foam mattresses. All three mattresses are dressed in hues selected based on Pantone’s top predicted colors including white, Riverside blue and Sharkskin gray.
“We’re all familiar with consumer complaints regarding memory foam mattresses sleeping hot,” said Dan Baker, executive vice president of sales for Glideaway. “Our new Sleepharmony hybrid mattresses solve that problem by delivering instantaneous coolness through the Ice Touch fabric and then the TruGel layer helps offset the buildup of heat in the mattress. They deliver a true temperature-regulating experience to promote a more restful night’s sleep.”
