Englander Sleep Products has updated its flagship E-Gel collection with nine new mattress models—six of which will be showcased in the company’s newly renovated showroom at the winter Las Vegas Market.
First introduced in 2012 and promoted for its “CoolBlue Sleep Technology,” Englander’s E-gel collection is made with two-inch cooling gel cylinders bonded to components like memory foam. The updated line-up now includes a number of comfort options including new encased-coil designs, gel-infused memory foam and adjustable bed models that incorporate latex.
“The new E-gel series gives retailers more options in gel technology,” noted Kevin Toman, president and CEO. “The line now includes gel infused foams to permanently bonded cylinders to solid layers.”
Expected to retail from $799 to $2,499 in queen, the new E-gel models pair velvet-like white knits on the top panels with gray upholstered-look fabrics and matching tapes on the borders—while the new top-of-bed and instore materials continue to promote the performance-based and eco-friendly qualities of the collection. In addition to being anti-microbial, E-gel’s superior cooling capacity works to lower heart rate. Using up to 60 percent plant-based oils, E-gel is processed at room temperature to further shrink its carbon footprint.
“We’re committed to environmentally-conscious practices and programs,” Toman explained.
The revamped E-gel collection will be prominently displayed in Englander’s redecorated 5,400-square-foot Las Vegas Market showroom. The company completely reconfigured the space by eliminating walls, clearing windows, increasing light and adding a second entrance—in addition to introducing new design features such as interlocking headboards for “island” displays, hanging room dividers and free-standing fabric separators.
“We think our new space appropriately reflects our company and products and what the Englander brand stands for today,” added Toman.
