Luxury bedding innovator, E.S. Kluft & Co. announced it will introduce three new product expansions in the upcoming Las Vegas Market.
E.S. Kluft & Co. will expand its successful A3 collection with the addition of new firmness levels, a broader selection of colors and designer fabrics for the mattress ticking. The A 3 Series, combining European design with American structure to offer tailored comfort and unsurpassed conformability, will be a highlight at the Kluft showroom during the upcoming Las Vegas Furniture Market.
The A 3 is a multi-tiered mattress construction, building upon a foundation similar to a standard spring base and mattress with the addition of a separate mattress ComfortTop. Growing the customization capabilities of the line, Kluft is adding additional firmness levels so customers can have an even broader range of comfort feels to choose from. This also impacts retailers, who are able to offer a variety of options in their showroom while using the same base to save space.
“The A 3 is gaining significant traction, and we’ve already placed the collection with several major retailers across the country. When showroom space is at such a premium, they appreciate the ability to switch out multiple Comfort Tops, accommodating discerning customers wanting to customize their A 3. Our tops can be easily stored and exchanged from a store room location,” E.S. Kluft & Co. President and Owner Earl Kluft.
The customization of the A 3 is also evident with the new, broader selection of colors and designer fabrics available for the mattress ticking. Introducing eye-catching, bold options like fuchsia and black rose at Market, Kluft is appealing to the female consumer who enjoys bringing bright colors into the bedroom. The move builds upon the softer palate of hues still popular with retailers and consumers, such as charcoal, beige, and moss.
“Color initiates an emotional response—and it sets the A 3 apart on the retail sales floor. Watch a customer walk into a sleep shop and you’ll see them gravitate to the A 3, attracted to its unique color and design. That’s why we have created an entire color book to help retailers select a fresh look for their showroom floor. The luxury consumer desires a custom product that both looks and feels lavish. The A 3 meets both of those needs,” added Kluft.
All fabrics are Forestex or Oeko-Tex certified, while the modular foundation frame is built with sustainable forest lumber. The middle core of the A3 is comprised of either an all-foam construction or layers of heat-treated individually wrapped springs, natural latex, and visco foam.
Aireloom King Size
Building on the early success of its 2012 introduction of the Aireloom King Debut, E.S. Kluft & Co. will now offer the Aireloom King size as an option in several additional models each with a different comfort feel and construction. The square beds measure 7-by-7 feet offering 20 percent more surface area than a standard king mattress.
Always at the forefront of American luxury, Kluft has created a mattress design so stunning it can serve as a showcase piece on the retail floor as well as the master bedroom suite. The Aireloom King is more than stylish – the unique shape gives consumers the ability to rotate it in quarter turns for total break-in of the sleep surface and maximum wearability. The spacious, lavish design meets the ever-changing needs of the luxury consumer.
“The Aireloom King is a lifestyle choice – the bed has become a work space, a family gathering spot, and a haven for couples to relax and rejuvenate. Now, you can do all of those things comfortably –with room to spare. Of course, all our hand-crafted mattresses combine the best in design, function, and structure, ensuring that one of those things we do in bed is get a good night’s sleep,” said Kluft. “We crafted the Aireloom King envisioning a new meaning to the ‘king size bed,’ and we believe with the very high interest and early success of our first model, the Aireloom Debut, this will quickly become a highlight on retail floors and the new standard of American luxury.”
Kluft will introduce the Aireloom King size to several of his most popular collections at the Las Vegas Market
The Aireloom Hybrid Collection’s Emerald model will now be available in the 7-by-7 family size bed. Features of the line include an outer-tufted design and a super-stretch bamboo knit ticking that brings an added level of flexibility in order to relieve pressure point pain. That stretch knit works in harmony with the inner mattress components, including wrapped coils, two layers of Talalay latex, a single layer of airegelle™ and visco foam, to move with the body’s contours to provide muscle relaxation and increase support.
From its Synchronized Support Collection Kluft will now offer its Skyview and Charisma as Aireloom King models. Constructed for maximum comfort, this line features zoned wrapped coils to cradle the body, organic cotton for increased breathability, a layer of airegelle for its cooling benefits plus layers of Talalay Latex for added buoyancy and support. While the Charisma features multiple layers of Talalay Latex, the Skyview includes a layer of deeply contoured pin-convoluted foam for an added plush feel. The look for both is completed with elegant Belgian damask fabric and a hand outer-tufted design. Also for the first time, the customizable A 3 will be offered in the Aireloom King size with either a modular foundation or adjustable base.
The original model used to launch the Aireloom King collection, the Aireloom Debut features English nested or standard individually wrapped coils, three padded layers of Talalay latex, visco elastic foam, and certified organic cotton; completed with elegant Belgian damask fabric.
All Aireloom King models are handcrafted featuring Kluft’s Luxetop style and patented fill-box technique, to provide superior comfort and minimize motion transfer. In producing the Aireloom King, Kluft teamed with five other well known manufacturers to make the product even more spectacular and easily accepted in the marketplace.
Michael Amini/AICO produced a shimmering champaign leather headboard tufted with crystals from its successful “Hollywood Swank” collection, a product of the “Michael Amini and Jane Seymour a Designed Collaboration.” Knickerbocker Bed Company contributed to the project with its new and highly acclaimed Embrace frame, which provides superior support for the sleep system. Completing the ensemble, Dreamfit, known for its patented luxury sheets and fine materials, is supplying custom accessories for the Aireloom King.
Also available to consumers is a split, adjustable Aireloom King. Known for offering exceptional features in the adjustable category, Customatic is supplying the adjustable bases which measure 42-by-84 inches, while sleep technology pioneer, Leggett and Platt, is also supplying components.
Following its successful entry into the gel category in 2012, Kluft will expand its “airegelle™” collection, featuring high performance gel technology, with the unveiling of the Aireloom Devereaux Hybrid at the Las Vegas Market.
Kluft’s latest addition to the luxury mattress category will feature individually wrapped coils paired with gel-infused foam, eliminating pressure-point pain and minimizing motion transfer by providing localized support.
The distinctive Devereaux will feature smooth top, non-quilted all euro styling to bring the sleeper in closer contact with the gel to better experience its cooling benefits and supportive properties that conform to the body.
“When we developed airegelle™ we realized that one type of gel was not sufficient to use across all products, so we created different feels for different models. We used the same custom concept when creating the Devereaux’s smooth, euro styling. While Kluft is renowned for its plush hand-tufting, we understand that the cooling benefits of gel are amplified with closer contact, which prompted us to create this distinguishing design,” said Kluft.
