E.S. Kluft & Co. has raised the bar on luxury bedding with the introduction of the Aireloom King, a square mattress measuring 7-by-7 feet, offering 20 percent more surface area than a standard king mattress.
The Aireloom King builds on the exceptional craftsmanship for which Kluft is known. Each bed is handcrafted using the patented fill-box technique, providing superior comfort and minimizing motion transfer. The bed features English nested or standard individually wrapped coils, padded layers of Talalay latex, visco elastic foam, and certified organic cotton; completed with elegant Belgian damask fabric. The unique size benefits consumers, giving them the ability to rotate the mattress in quarter turns for total break-in of the sleep surface and maximum wear ability. The Aireloom King will be offered as an option in select Kluft collections. The first release, “Aireloom King Debut”, starts at $7,000.
“We’re changing the meaning of ‘king size,’ and we believe the Aireloom King will become the new standard of luxury in America. Luxury consumers are ready for a family size bed, and we have created one so unique and stunning that it’s a showcase piece on the retail floor as well as in the master suite,” said E.S. Kluft Founder and CEO, Earl Kluft. “You have to envision what the luxury consumer wants before they even realize they want it. This new generation of lavish, hand-crafted bedding allows consumers to stretch out with ease to get a good night’s sleep in style.”
In producing the Aireloom King, Kluft teamed with five other manufacturers to make the product more easily accepted in the marketplace.
At the recent Las Vegas Furniture Market, Michael Amini/AICO produced a champaign leather headboard tufted with crystals from the company's successful “Hollywood Swank” collection, a product of the “Michael Amini and Jane Seymour a Designed Collaboration.” Knickerbocker Bed Company contributed to the project with its new and highly acclaimed Embrace frame, which provides superior support for the sleep system. Completing the ensemble, Dreamfit, known for its patented luxury sheets and fine materials, will supply custom accessories for the Aireloom King.
Also available to consumers is a split, adjustable Aireloom King. Known for offering exceptional features in the adjustable category, Customatic is supplying the adjustable bases and sleep technology pioneer, Leggett and Platt, the components to ensure the entire package is fit for a king.
