Blu Sleep Products is making selecting a pillow easier with the national launch of its “Choose the Perfect Pillow” point-of-purchase display and quick-ship program. The system uses dynamic graphics to explain each pillow’s construction and the benefits, as well as information that consumers can use to choose a pillow that adapts to their body type and sleeping position.
The “Choose the Perfect Pillow” system uses simple guides such as shoulder width, body type and falling asleep position to help retailers fit each customer with their perfect pillow. Answers to two basic questions will calculate a number that will match one of the pillows on the display. While retailers can select from Blu Sleep’s wide portfolio of product, the new program typically features the company’s five best sellers: Aqua Gel, Ice Gel, Bio Aloe, Vitality and Vibrance. Offered in standard, queen, and king sizes, Blu Sleep pillows retail from $99 to $159. Every order placed is available to ship within 24 hours.
“Sleeping on the right pillow can make the difference between waking up refreshed or waking up sluggish. Yet so many people go to bed each night with a pillow that does not adapt to their body type and sleeping position,” said Blu Sleep Vice President Elizabeth Dell’Accio. “We developed new POP to help both the consumer and retailer simplify and take the stress out of choosing a pillow.”
The company successfully tested the program last year in select markets. After receiving positive feedback from its retail partners and consumers, Blu Sleep Products is now making the POP available nationwide.
