On September 24th Wright Global Graphics (WGG) held its 2nd annual “Pie in the Face” event to combat hunger. The event was held in conjunction with the Fairgrove Family Resource Center, a local community center providing supportive and direct services to children and families living in Thomasville and eastern Davidson County. The company raised $5,000 which will feed 25 children for the entire school year.
“Our goal was to feed as many children as we possibly could,” said WGG President and CEO Greg Wright. “We know that there are many people in our area that struggle day to day to get just one meal not only for their family but for themselves too. Providing this kind of service is heartwarming for us to see. Last year this event was a huge success and it makes it even better not only that we were able to do it again, but that we were able to surpass our donations from last year. Teaming with Fairgrove Family Resource Center really lets us see the direct impact that we have.”
“The Wright Global Graphics team truly cares about their community,” said Fairgrove Family Resource Center Executive Director Terri Fisher. “This event exceeded all of our expectations. We hope it continues and we continue to be a part of it.”
