Handcrafted iron furniture supplier Wesley Allen’s romantic Lansing canopy bed will be recognized at the Fall High Point Market as a finalist for the esteemed 21st Annual Pinnacle Awards, a design competition hosted each year by the American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD) to support the design of home furnishings.
Designed by Victor Sawan, CEO of Wesley Allen, the Lansing canopy bed provides an elegant combination of subtle curves and angular designed crafted in iron and available in more than 40 hand-applied finishes. The bed is one of four finalists in the bedroom category. Overall, 59 finalists have been named in 15 different product categories. Winners will be announced during a banquet set for Monday, Oct. 24.
“We are honored to be among the great companies selected as finalists for the 2016 Pinnacle Awards,” Sawan said. “At Wesley Allen, we put a great deal of time and effort into our designs and finishes. To be recognized as one of the industry’s top designs is incredible. I couldn’t be more proud of this honor.”
