Symbol has promoted former Manager of Customer Service, Roxanne Hrkman, to the newly created post of Vice President of Demand Management to enhance the brand’s value, customer service and continued growth.
In her new role, Hrkman will be responsible for inventory planning, control and forecasting for Symbol. She will continue to lead the brand’s customer service department in addition to overseeing fabric and tape purchases and supporting the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system upgrade. Hrkman will report to Symbol President Mike McQuiston.
“Our growth over the last few years has created the need for a demonstrated leader to manage and coordinate our entire inventory supply chain. Roxanne's skill set will allow Symbol to better purchase, forecast, manage inventories and produce more efficiently. This newly created position is part of our long-term strategic growth plan and we are proud to have Roxanne in it,” said McQuiston.
Hrkman joined Symbol in 2013 as an inventory analyst and a year later advanced to the role of customer service manager. Prior to joining the Symbol team, she served at Leggett & Platt for approximately 10 years in the areas of quality assurance, purchasing, customer service, materials and master scheduling and sales.
