The climate-controlled SleepFresh bedding brand launched by Symbol Mattress in Las Vegas last winter is now “starring” in two races as part of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The SleepFresh Sleep System is the primary marketing sponsor featured on the Rick Ware Racing (RWR) team’s No. 51 Chevrolet, set to compete in races at the Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, followed by the Richmond (Va.) International Raceway.
Claiming the company is planning several marketing initiatives in 2017 to promote its new SleepFresh line, Symbol president Mike McQuiston said “we’re very excited to be part of NASCAR and the Rick Ware Racing family. Partnering with a racing team was a natural for us because the SleepFresh system uses the same technology that powers climate-controlled automotive components.”
Originally designed in concert with a major developer of thermal management technologies, the three-bed SleepFresh line has the capacity to heat, ventilate and cool using an exclusive Climate Control Sleep System located in the foundation.
“The research we conducted with retailers and consumers indicated that temperature control is the foremost concern among sleepers,” McQuiston noted. “SleepFresh beds were designed with that in mind and we believe they’re superior to any other climate controlled beds on the market today.”
Longtime RWR driver Timmy Hill, who will pilot the No. 51 Symbol Mattress Chevrolet at both races, noted that “it’s great for us as a growing team to have the support of a local company like Symbol which is working through NASCAR to spread its message.”
