Spring Air Appoints New Director Of E-Commerce

Spring Air Mike Giurleo Reflecting its strategic initiative in 2017 to capitalize on the power of digital marketing to communicate more frequently and effectively with consumers, Spring Air International has named Michael Giurleo to the new position of director of e-commerce, announced company president Nick Bates. The appointment, effective March 20, follows Spring Air’s earlier announcement that it has retained a new social media agency to launch the consumer relationship-building process.

Giurleo’ primary responsibility will be to “define marketing and e-commerce goals that support Spring Air’s overall vision and branding efforts,” Bates said.

“Mike will engage with and grow our e-commerce business partners and will define strategies for marketing to our online retailers. He also has been tasked with overseeing all of our web and social media services,” Bates explained.

Giurleo, who graduated cum laude and as a university scholar from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in business administration and marketing, most recently served as an advisor marketing consultant for Commonwealth Financial Network (CFN) and had been with the firm since 2014. Based in Waltham, Mass., CFN is the nation’s largest, privately-held, independent broker/dealer.

Giurleo’s career highlights over the years 2007-14 included work as a retirement plan operations associate for Sentinel Financial Group, and a post as account manager for ACS, a Xerox company that helps clients improve their processes and operations.

“Bringing Mike and his extensive experience to the Spring Air team is just one more step we’re taking in the online world,” Bates noted. “He will be vital to growing both our Spring Air business and online presence.”
