Southerland, Inc. announced today that they have made the following key management changes and additions to continue to strengthen their company and support its growth.
Scott Miller is being named to the new role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Southerland, Inc. In this capacity, Scott will be responsible for leading the product development, merchandizing, marketing and brand management functions at Southerland. Scott will report to Steve Russo, CEO.
Leo Echeverria has joined Southerland, Inc. as Vice-President, Manufacturing. Leo will be responsible for Southerland’s operations in Tennessee, Oklahoma and Arizona. Leo’s previous mattress industry experience includes key operations positions at Serta, King Koil, and Southern Dreams. He operated a successful international consulting business prior to joining Southerland. Leo will report to Steve Russo, CEO.
Tim Tyler is expanding his responsibilities as Vice-President of Sales to include the Central division as well as the Eastern US. Tim will directly manage the TN and OKC based sales teams, and the newly created position of National Sales Coordinator. In this expanded capacity, Tim will continue to report to Steve Russo, CEO.
Dan Thigpen has joined Southerland, Inc. as Vice President of Sales, Western US. Dan will manage the sales team that supports Southerland’s Arizona operations. Dan’s previous mattress industry experience includes sales management positions at Comfort Solutions and Kingsdown. Dan will report directly to Steve Russo, CEO.
Dave Delaney, has joined Southerland, Inc. to fill the newly created position of National Sales Coordinator. Dave will be based in Nashville and will be responsible for internal support to the sales reps in the field in order to allow Southerland’s sales organization to more effectively execute new account growth and existing account support needs. Dave’s previous mattress industry experience includes Spring Air major account representative, Corsicana Regional Sales manager and Therapedic Key account Representative. Dave will report to Tim Tyler, VP Sales.
