Sinomax Group Announces First U.S Manufacturing Facility

Foam Bedding Products Manufacturer to Operate in Tennessee

Sinomax Group, a memory foam products manufacturer and distributor based in Hong Kong, announced today that the company will open its first U.S. manufacturing facility in La Vergne, Tenn., outside of Nashville. The company will invest $28 million and create 350 jobs.

Sinomax has been designing and manufacturing high-quality memory foam products, including mattresses, pillows and mattress toppers, for over 15 years in China. The company’s products are sold at numerous leading worldwide retailers under various national and private-label brand names, including HoMedics, Sharper Image, Dream Serenity, ComforZen and Zeopedic.

“We are thrilled to expand our global footprint by opening our first U.S. manufacturing facility,” said Frank Chen, president and CEO of Sinomax USA. “Through our new facility in Tennessee, we will be able to better serve our North American customers with our diverse offerings of high-quality foam bedding products. We anticipate significant growth as demand for localized manufacturing continues.”

Renovations to an existing building will turn the site into a state-of-the-art automated pour and fabrication facility. The 505,000-square-foot manufacturing facility will produce the various foam products that are Sinomax’s specialty. With this facility, the company will be able to more efficiently reach North American markets. It is expected to be operational in June 2016 and create 350 jobs over the next three years.
