Reverie Partners with Western New York Heroes to Aid Veterans

ReverieIn an effort to offer aid to injured veterans and their families, Reverie has partnered with the Western New York Heroes charitable organization to supply new sleep systems to the Horizon Village Terrace House facility. This donation echoes Reverie’s “Sleep well tonight. Live Better tomorrow” tagline and strategy to educate audiences about the importance of sleep as a form of recovery.

“We were incredibly honored to receive this donation of beds at our Horizon Village Terrace House facility. This donation continues to show the strong commitment our community organizations have towards changing lives and assisting our veterans on their road to recovery. It was a true testament to the commitment and continued passion our partners put forth each and every day to help those in need,” said Anne Constantino, President and CEO of Horizon. “The services provided at Horizon Village Terrace House are vital in Western New York and we at Horizon are committed to continued quality of care and serving those in need in our community each and every day.”

As part of the WNYHeroes charitable organization, Horizon Village Terrace House offers 28 detox beds and 31 inpatient rehabilitation beds to veterans. On September 18th, Reverie employees delivered and placed 12 sleep systems, including both adjustable bed bases and mattresses valued at over $30,000, in the facility.

“We wanted to recognize the sacrifice these soldiers have made to defend our country and wanted to act on how thankful we are. Acclimating to life after returning from war is tough enough – serious injury compounds difficulty and adds to family stresses. This was our way of showing returning service members our support, compassion and understanding and the beginning of a relationship with veterans’ organizations across the country,” said Reverie President and CEO, Martin Rawls-Meehan.

Many Reverie employees have close relationships with veterans and understand the challenges they go through upon returning home. This opportunity to support veterans in the Western New York community was identified by one of Reverie’s own employees, Frank Mueller.

“This touched the lives of many,” WNYHeroes Founder, President and CEO Chris Kreiger explained. “Reverie did not just donate sleep systems, they are donated peace of mind.”
