Reverie Appoints First COO To Enhance Day-To-Day Operations

Reverie has promoted Leo Vera from Vice President of Operations to Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, he will be responsible for daily operations as well as continuing to contribute to the company’s continued growth and innovation in sleep technology.

“Leo’s experience, drive and passion for innovation is a perfect fit for the COO role at Reverie. Our business is growing so dramatically that we needed this enhanced layer of management to continuously improve our performance” said Reverie CEO Martin Rawls-Meehan. “We believe he has the perfect blend of expertise and a fresh perspective that’s needed in the sleep products industry and are excited to have him join the executive team.”

Vera began his career in the bedding industry in 2011 as Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Ergomotion, before joining the Reverie team in January of 2015. His prior work experience includes Coopers and Lybrand LLP in San Jose in the audit practice before turning to business consulting with Deloitte Consulting Group in 1997, and then later with the IBM Business Consulting Group. Vera worked as a business process, financial, operational and systems consultant during his nine-year stint in this field, working with global clients in automotive, contract manufacturing and bio-technology. In 2006, he became a regional controller for Pyrotek, a privately-held sales and engineering company focused in the aluminum industry, where he had financial responsibility for plants located all over the world.

“Reverie is by far the industry leader in quality adjustable power bases, bringing innovation and dynamism to the industry,” Vera said. “I am extremely excited to take on this new role and help our team achieve ever greater results for our dealers and their customers.”
