Organic mattress company, Naturepedic, has published its 2014 Annual Sustainability Report, publicly available at www.naturepedic.com/info/sustainability.php . The report highlights sustainability efforts undertaken by the company in 2014 in energy conservation, material use and other areas.
The report is part of the company’s broader sustainability strategy. This strategy seeks to expand on the company’s dedication to healthier living to move beyond just the products it offers to encompassing the entire way it conducts business. The yearly report looks to increase public awareness of Naturepedic’s ongoing environmental efforts and at the same time generate internal dialogue on creative ways to lower its environmental footprint even more.
“In documenting our sustainability efforts, we want to create a yardstick against which we can challenge ourselves as a company to continually be better,” said Dale “Sebastian” Luckwitz, sustainability officer. “For us, being excellent isn’t enough.
