Mattress Firm to Donate Beds to Houston Storm Victims

In response to the recent flooding in Houston, Mattress Firm is giving new mattresses to victims of the storms. As Houston is Mattress Firm’s founding city (and CEO Steve Stagner’s hometown), the company has been especially moved by the tragedy and are going the extra mile to contribute to recovery efforts.

Mattress Firm will be hosting an event on June 6 to issue store credit to individuals and families affected by the flooding. Customers who qualify will receive a $700 credit to be applied toward any Houston-area in-store purchase – from a brand new mattress to pillows and accessories. Houston residents are invited to stop by between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to obtain the credit—and enjoy breakfast provided by Whataburger and pillow giveaways throughout the day. A DJ will also be onsite for the duration of the event and radio remotes will be hosted by KKBQ and KGLK.

For those who cannot attend the event, people can still apply for the store credit online at mattressfirm.com/houstonflood between June 5 and August 31. The credit vouchers will be redeemable until December 31, 2015.
