King Koil Presents Awards for 2013 Sales and Marketing Performance

King Koil Subur FurnitureIn the wake of significant sales and market share increases by King Koil® licensees and retailers in the Asia Pacific region, King Koil presented several awards for 2013 Sales and Marketing Performance to retail customers in Indonesia during a recent tour of the global Southeast.

Three retailers served by King Koil’s Jakarta, Indonesia-based licensee, which is owned by chairman Andreas Wihardja and managing director Hendry Setiawan, were honored for their brand development efforts and outstanding sales growth over the past year.

Company executives Owen Shoemaker, senior vice president of business development and innovation, and J.P. LeDoux, vice president of international business development, presented 2013 achievement awards to Indonesia’s Chandra Karya Furniture, Subur Furniture and Diana Eva Furniture.

The Chandra Karya Furniture store group, owned by Chandra Kristianto, received the prestigious “King Koil Southeast Asia Top Dealer Award.”

Subur Furniture, a furniture retail chain headed by Rita Wardhani and Benny Japardi, was awarded the “King Koil Indonesia Top Dealer Award.”

Diana Eva Furniture, operated by Budi Hartono and his wife Tjong Joe Tjin, was honored with the “King Koil Indonesia Most Improved Dealer Award.”

All three furniture store owners and multiple family members were on hand to receive their awards from Shoemaker, LeDoux, Wihardja and Setiawan.

“Despite the challenges of the world economy, the tremendous development and growth that the King Koil brand has seen in countries like China, Malaysia and Indonesia in recent years has been nothing short of phenomenal,” Shoemaker said.
