A year after successfully introducing its Latex Collection, Gold Bond will be creating a “Latex Showcase” area of its showroom at the fall High Point Furniture Market to put more of a focus on its growing line and a place where retailers can collaborate with the manufacturer to fine-tune product for their retail floors.
“Latex sleep products are the newest ‘must haves’ for consumers and retailers are catching on. Recently, we have seen huge growth in demand for our Latex Collection because more space is being dedicated to latex on showroom floors. We will be highlighting our latex collections in a newly designed ‘Latex Showcase’ area of our showroom where we will be able to display our full range of latex mattresses in a visually appealing way,” said Gold Bond President Robert Naboicheck. “This market we decided to focus on adding to our latex options with the addition of our hybrid line, the Smart Series, which also features gel. We are confident that retailers will pick up our products not only because of the quality for which we are known, but because our pricing allows them to sell at a higher margin than any of our competitors.”
The Latex Collection consists of two models, the company’s first two-sided latex mattress, The Platinum and a one-sided model, The Gold. Each of the 10-inch mattresses uses Dunlop Latex, medium firm latex and SuperSoft latex. The company’s new Smart Series features three new SKUs, two with gel layers and one with a gel-infused latex layer atop the innerspring support system. Both collections will be on display at the upcoming High Point Market.
“Latex has become the new ‘star’ of the specialty sleep category; and we want our retailers to understand the importance of having these products on their floors,” added Naboicheck.
