Colonial LLC Names Mark Hobson as President

Colonial announced the promotion of Mark J Hobson to President. Mr. Hobson will be responsible for the expansion and implementation of Colonial’s customer centered sales, marketing, operations and business success strategies. He will lead all related client functions as Colonial continues to grow its sales domestically as well as internationally. Mr. Hobson will report to Jim Keever Sr., Colonial LLC’s Chairman and CEO.

Mr. Hobson has more than 30 years of experience in the mattress industry. Before joining Colonial in January of 2011, Mr. Hobson spent over 25 years with the Sealy Mattress Company, in various sales and marketing roles, including Senior VP of Marketing, VP of Business Development, VP of National Accounts and VP of Sales. Mr. Hobson also has prior experience as a retail bedding buyer, with the Jordan Marsh organization (now Macy’s) and in executive consulting, as Managing Director for the Greensboro, N.C. office of Sandler Training, a worldwide leader in sales and management consulting.
