In a move to capture a younger consumer, Vispring will unveil a fresh, contemporary bed at the spring High Point Market. Designed in collaboration with French interior designer Terence Mesguich Jacquemin, the fully upholstered Carmina features a sophisticated low-to-the-ground silhouette.
Designed with a built-in spring system that is more shallow than the company’s more traditional styles, Carmina isn’t short on comfort as it is built to partner perfectly with Vispring’s bespoke mattresses. Like all of the company’s high-end bedding products, Carmina is handcrafted by expert artisans who are renowned for their craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Carmina is designed for consumers with an eye for modern style and clean lines. Crafted with FSC-accredited Scandinavian wood, the bed rests on sleek, chrome legs to exhibit a minimalistic look, while the headboard and footboard both feature a subtle floating detail. The bed can be upholstered in any of Vispring’s extensive Timeless and Local fabric collections.
As the founder and principal of TMJ Design Studio, Jacquemin has previously worked with Vispring on a variety of projects. Most recently, he teamed with the company to update its Timeless fabric collection.
The Carmina is the latest addition to the Vispring portfolio of handmade bespoke mattresses, beds and headboards—which are sold in nearly 500 retail outlets in 35 countries across five continents. With this strategic move into more contemporary design, Vispring aims to help retailers appeal to a broader range of consumers.
