Glideaway introduced its “adult” all-in-one bed frames, the Designer Bed Series, at the recent Las Vegas Furniture Market. The stylish collection of support systems provides an all-in-one package and budget-friendly alternative by eliminating the need for a separate frame, head board, foot board and foundation. Like the company’s Sleepharmony pillows and protectors, the new series will offer retailers additional ways to boost revenues by providing additional up-sell opportunities.
“We have experienced such incredible success with our juvenile line of metal beds, we decided to expand our offerings into the adult category,” said Glideaway Executive Vice President of Sales Ron Fredman. “The Designer Bed Series is a great alternative for consumers looking for a high-end, contemporary look and support offered by more expensive bedding accessories, without the hefty price tag.”
The visually-appealing collection will feature three models, the Sonoma, Bellerive, and Crestwood, and will be offered in traditional bronze and contemporary pewter hammered finishes. The durable metal frames feature an additional support beam across the center of the bed, preventing sagging and eliminating the need for – or expense of – a box spring. Simplifying the assembly process for consumers, the no tools are needed to build the frames.
