Glideaway has added an all-in-one bed frame model in the adult consumer category with its new Designer Bed Series. This stylish collection of bed support systems provides an allin- one package. The introduction of this series eliminates the need to purchase a frame, head board, foot board and foundation separately, thus offering consumers a budget friendly alternative to other models without sacrificing cohesive design. Like the St. Louis, Missouri-based company’s Sleepharmony pillows and protectors, the new series will offer retailers additional ways to boost revenues by providing additional up-sell opportunities.
This new collection expands on Glideaway’s line of youth-sized all-in-one frames, explains Glideaway Executive Vice President of Sales Ron Fredman. “We have experienced such incredible success with our juvenile line of metal beds, we decided to expand our offerings into the adult category. The Designer Bed Series is a great alternative for consumers who are looking for a high-end, contemporary look and support provided by moreexpensive bedding accessories, without the hefty price tag.”
The visually-appealing collection will feature three models: the Sonoma, Bellerive, and Crestwood, all of which will be available in traditional bronze and contemporary pewter hammered finishes. The durable metal frames feature an additional support beam across the center of the bed, to prevent sagging and eliminate the need for a box spring. This product line simplifies the assembly process for both consumers and retailers because no tools are needed to assemble the frames.
