Gearing up for a profitable 2017, Fashion Bed Group is set to unveil a broad assortment of new products at the Winter Las Vegas Market—including a new foldable foundation and a revamped assortment of adjustable bases.
Looking to target the easy-ship market, Fashion Bed Group is unveiling the Simple Life UPS-able foundation at market. Retailing for $249, this new product features an innovated tri-fold design that unfolds and locks into place with no tools required. Made of heavy-duty tubular steel and tailored at the corners, this foundation flattens for easy loading.
“This easy-to-ship frame is ideal for our e-commerce customers, while providing our brick-and-mortar retail partners with an inventory-friendly mattress foundation,” stated Ron Ainsworth, Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Procurement. “The tri-fold design packs small enough to fit three times the load into one truck, while also delivering optimum ease and support to the end user.”
Fashion Bed Group has also updated its line of adjustable bases with new features and benefits that offer added retail value. The flagship S-Cape Series includes three designs that come standard with back-lit wireless remotes, easy wireless syncing, dual full-body massage, under-bed lighting and adjustable height legs. The upgraded S-Cape 2.0+ also includes an app and two four-port USB hubs on each side of the base. Available in both foundation and furniture styles, the series starts at $1,199 in queen.

Additionally, the company has introduced the new MicroHook mattress-retention system for its adjustable bases. This proprietary gripping application effectively keeps the mattress from sliding off the base without the need for retainer-bars.
