Expanding on the growing e-commerce, bed-in-the-box segment of its business, Classic Brands will offer retailers an easy-to-ship, easy-to-assemble, knockdown foundation. The upholstered foundation, priced to retail at $199, will be featured in the company’s showroom during the Spring High Point Market.
Engineered with four upholstered side rails that connect with a unique locking mechanism, a center rail and a slatted crossbar system that easily rolls out, the foundation will give both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce retailers a seamless solution to sell alongside boxed mattresses. The foundation can be shipped via common carrier in one compact box.

Classic Brands remains at the forefront of innovation in the exploding bed-in-a-box business. Earlier this year, the company introduced an easy-ship power foundation featuring comfort features like dual-power massage, zero-gravity and head-up. The base retails at $699 and has become one of the company’s top-selling items. The new upholstered knock-down foundation will help round out the company’s stable of products in the segment.
